The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) established the Productivity Training Institute in 2004, which was officially upgraded to the HKPC Academy in 2018. HKPC Academy is committed to nurturing future talent in Hong Kong by offering a wide range of innovative, high-tech, and high value-added training services, exhibitions, events, and seminars. These initiatives aim to strengthen industry training support, expand the innovation and technology talent pool, and contribute to building Hong Kong into an international innovation and technology hub and a smart city. HKPC Academy also actively collaborates with academic institutions and innovation and technology education organisations to launch a series of “FutureSkills” and TechEd training programmes. These efforts aim to promote the culture of innovation and technology, enhance innovation atmosphere across society.
